These terms govern your use of the Bubbasafe website and any Baby View products or services you buy from us. Please take a few minutes to read them — placing an order means you agree to everything set out below.

1. Introduction
Welcome to Bubbasafe. These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the website at bubbasafe.com.au (the “Website”) and to every purchase you make from us. The Website and the Baby View range are operated by Bubbasafe (“we”, “us” or “our”), an Australian-owned business based in Coburg North, Melbourne, VIC, ABN 89 664 647 750.
By browsing the Website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you are able to enter into a legally binding contract, and that you accept these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Returns Policy, Warranty, Safety Disclaimer and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or purchase our products.
2. Definitions
In these Terms, unless the context requires otherwise:
- “Baby View” means the Bubbasafe integrated car baby-camera monitoring system and its character variants (Cat, Dog and Panda), together with any related accessories.
- “Products” means any goods or services offered for sale on the Website, including Baby View units, Extended Warranty cover and gift cards.
- “Order” means a request submitted by you through the Website to purchase one or more Products.
- “ACL” means the Australian Consumer Law set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
- “GST” means the goods and services tax imposed under the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth).
- “you” and “your” means the person accessing the Website or placing an Order.
3. Orders & acceptance
When you place an Order, you are making an offer to buy the selected Products subject to these Terms. An automated confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your Order — it does not, on its own, mean we have accepted it. A binding contract is only formed when we dispatch the Products and send you a dispatch confirmation.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an Order (in whole or in part) before dispatch, including where:
- a Product is out of stock, discontinued or listed with a pricing or description error;
- we are unable to verify your payment or delivery details;
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent, unlawful or resale-without-authorisation activity; or
- delivery is requested to an address we do not service.
If we cancel an Order that you have already paid for, we will refund the affected amount in full to your original payment method. Vehicle compatibility is your responsibility to confirm before ordering — please use our compatibility checker and read how it works first.
4. Pricing & payment
All prices on the Website are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where GST applies. For example, a Baby View unit is currently listed at $289 and Extended Warranty cover at $35. Shipping charges, where they apply, are shown separately at checkout before you confirm and pay.
We may update prices, promotions and Product availability at any time without notice. The price that applies to your Order is the price shown at the moment you complete checkout. If we discover a genuine pricing error after you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
- Payment is due in full at the time you place your Order.
- We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Card payments are processed by our third-party payment provider — we never see or store your full card details.
- You warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method provided and that there are sufficient funds to cover the Order.
- A valid tax invoice showing our ABN, the GST component and the total is issued for every completed purchase.
5. Shipping & delivery
We ship Australia-wide from our Coburg North warehouse. Delivery timeframes, rates, and cut-off times are set out in full on our Shipping Information page, which forms part of these Terms. Estimated delivery times are indicative only and begin from dispatch, not from when you place your Order.
Risk in the Products passes to you on delivery to the address you provide. Please make sure your delivery details are accurate — re-delivery of a parcel returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may incur an additional shipping fee. You can follow your parcel any time using our Track Order page.
6. Returns & warranty
Your rights to a repair, replacement or refund for faulty Products are protected by the Australian Consumer Law and are never limited by these Terms (see section 9). Beyond those rights:
- Faults and defects are covered by our Warranty, which sits in addition to your ACL rights. Optional Extended Warranty cover can be added at purchase.
Please inspect your Baby View on arrival and contact us promptly if anything is damaged or missing so we can put it right.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Website — including the Bubbasafe and Baby View names, logos, character designs, product photography, text, graphics, page layouts and software — is owned by or licensed to Bubbasafe and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
You may view, download and print content from the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with an Order. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or commercially exploit any part of the Website, or use our trade marks, without our prior written permission. Any unauthorised use immediately ends the limited licence granted above.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the ACL or any other applicable law. The following limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law and are subject to section 9.
- The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
- Baby View is a driver-assistance and monitoring aid only. It does not replace a parent’s or driver’s attention, safe driving practices, or compliance with Australian road rules and child-restraint laws. Please read our Safety Disclaimer.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Website or the Products.
- Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited (at our option) to resupplying the relevant Products or services, or paying the cost of doing so.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Our Products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Products repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
These consumer guarantees apply in addition to, and are not limited by, any voluntary warranty we offer. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and your rights under the ACL, the ACL prevails to the extent of that inconsistency.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. You and Bubbasafe each submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia, and to courts entitled to hear appeals from them, in relation to any dispute arising out of the Website, the Products or these Terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Products, our practices, or the law. The current version will always be published on this page with a revised “last updated” date at the top. Any changes take effect from the date they are posted. The Terms that apply to your Order are those in force at the time you place it, and your continued use of the Website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
